EduGeek and Microsoft ICT webinar – Wednesday 26th January 2011

EduGeek and Microsoft will be hosting a live webinar presenting on how to cut your schools spend using ICT solutions.

Virtually every school in the UK is buying and using Microsoft software widely across their IT systems. This year there is enormous pressure on school budgets, and this is threatening your IT budget for next year too. Predictions from BESA are that school IT budgets will go down in 2011, and beyond that the outlook is also poor. As an IT Manager in a school, what can you do to protect your own budget whilst helping your senior management team cut costs within the school budget? And are there ways of reducing your software spend or increasing the value it gives to your school?

During this webcast, we’re going to put some people on the spot by finding out more details about the Microsoft licensing schemes launched at BETT (will they really save money for schools, how much, and when?), as well as looking at cost saving ideas and practical projects that will allow you to communicate the value of your IT systems to the senior leaders in your school.
