We need to:[list] [*]Decide on the wall pattern [*]Create some features in the room e.g. Water features, benches, flower gardens.... [/list] 2. The horse shoe. To do:[list] [*]Change walls to solid stone [*]Deside on a floor (Stone brick, Sandstone......) [*]Carve out the store service windows [*]Decide on the size for the rooms behind the wall and how many [*]Carve out a staff path to get to the shop rooms [/list] 3. Finish the 1st 3rd of the tree farm and get it up and running So do you have any suggestions or anything else you would like to try and fit in to this weekend. darrenstraight 2,330 Report post Posted March 8, 2012 Not sure if you've considered this, as long as it’s not too close to the rails, but the hub could have some sort of grand glass roof feature which shines light through from the top, maybe spiralling upwards? Or we could just have a little cobblestone shack or house above ground with a secret passage/trapdoor? I just think it would be nice to have something linking the outside to the ground. If so post below and we will see what we can do. [/quote] I like Jackel's idea for the wall design. I think a stone brick floor would look nicer (unless we could make it look nice by mixing the two). And after you left yesterday, I cleared out some of the shop rooms. I followed the design of the already made ones (hope I did it correctly) and I didn't touch anything to do with the redstone as I'm not knowledgeable in that field. It would obviously be made of cobblestone but it depends on where we would build it and how much room we have. Calum841 33 Report post Posted May 1, 2012 Either one works. I initially suggested the passive farm. I didn't know we could get hostile spawners though. If we went along with the underground theme for the Snowheim farms it would be more difficult to lure the animals to the farm itself. We looked around very briefly above ground. madrad 362 Report post Posted May 10, 2012 Hi all Snowheimians There is now a location for the Mob Farms...If you follow the paths around it is a plot right at the end of a road...it is marked by a sign. Take a look at the area and make some sugestions on how you think it could go. I'm going to leave all snowheim people a message telling them to see this post - I hope within the next couple of days maybe we will have something? And please dont say you've been working on laputa etc... as madrads post was before that and just becuase theres a challenge going on it doesnt mean town builds should stop... it's just something extra for you to do. Also as a reminder for the X time, you dont have to live in other towns to make suggestions, you can suggest even if you dont live there and even help. Madrad has choosen to have the animal farm in one of the plots further round the road where no ones built yet - hes left a sign there (I'll go and place a glowstone tower to mark it). I went with a castle sort of theme also. Gave the animals some pen "furnishings" to mix things up. The roof (lack there of) can remain absent or, if wanted, can be present. I thought it was cool for fresh air but some might not like the idea of snow in thee pens. The area is 23x23 not including the turrets.
