I went to farefall today and had a look around. The amenities seem great, but I have a few suggestions concerning the riverside walk. I understand its not finished- hope its not going to be left half done?

The landscaping. A lot of the area is just grass and sand with no plants or anything to make it pretty. I know its girly of me but i think its important.

The paths seem to switch from three to two wide, would be nice if it was all the same.

The bridges- the biggest bridge seems quite heavy on one side, going quite far out into the water, might be better if it was thinner there? Also they are all stone brick, why not use some wood? And the smallest bridge is almost triangular, why not lengthen it a bit or make it flatter to avoid this triangular effect?

Ok well we've decided on a location for the riverside walkway park this evening, it has been marked out with 4 glowstone towers, please feel free to pop over and take a look around the area to see what kind of canvas we have to play around with....

Now we need ideas of what we would like to see in the park, be as wild as you like, any idea is a good idea even if you think it might be something silly, it might just work!

Thankyou to Elsejon for connecting one of the regions to the park, there is also another connection underway from the 2nd region which will consist of an underwater tunnel leading through the lake into the park.

Please fire away with ideas that you have for the area and we can vote on which ones to use

How about a bandstand? You can't have a park without a bandstand

And on another note, all bridges in Farefall have had an overhaul. They now all look similar to each other and have all got wooden trims

I agree with you Ryan, so theres definately going to be a bandstand in the park, maybe we could sit it in the middle section if the park but set to the back? keep the ideas coming people!

In most of the shows i have seen, there is alway s acart of some sort that sells something to draw in children, i.e. ballons, icecream

Tuna, sounds like a good idea but i'm not sure how we'd make a cart as such, do you have an idea of how we could do it?

So far i'm liking the suggestions.... Anyone else want to gove some input?

Ok so this is my best imitation of the cart i was talking about in my last post. It isn't perfect but it is what i came up with, feel free to tweak the idea as much as you need. ( I combined an ice cream truck with the balloons part).
There is a place for someone to stand on the inside. There is also two chests there where we can put the "ice cream" and earnings, (if you decide to sell anything).

Again are we going to finish this park or what? Can we not just get some people doing it? It still needs finishing. Just leave signs etc around (at home/on pathways etc) telling people what to do? Or even here and then leve signs saying see forums. I did that to every house in maplehold before.

Now thats finished we need to get more public builds done. Here's a few I thought of: Library, Brewery (potions), Marketplace.

Maybe we could make a tower of sorts, near the city center. When built properly, it could display the attributes of Farefall.

Saw this being built by Grapas97 in sandbox, if the town decides to have a tower (maybe like splinterz clock tower in old world) then id suggest get Grapas97 on board.
