I know a lot of you like xp/item farms, I personally dont like them, I find it more rewarding going out and fighting properly for it instead of just standing in some area! >.> But I guess thats up to Ryan.

I don't think that an xp farm would be a good idea, some people will just go afk in the farm, i think we should make a maze that goes under and over ground in the forest.

Perhaps the hedge maze could have a few traps that drop you into a second underground maze? That way, those who miss the traps take twice as long to get out.

OOORRR the underground could be interwoven with the hedge, so that you end up with a multi-story maze.

How big of an area could we occupy with this?

Well, if you have found the test world (http://www.darrenstraight.com/minecraft/index.php?/topic/2782-06102011-new-test-build-world-open/) youcan try a model therei might make one :P also it would be cool to have underground interwoven like when u go under it pops up in a dead end, and there could be buttons with secret paths underground :O

So we have 3 idea's to use, Hedge maze, water park and a boat race course.

 

I have an idea of the map for a boat race course and we also need to find an area for the hedge maze.

The water park idea I like a lot but I think we should put that on hold as we need to know a rough size and ideas of what to put in it and we also have the other two smaller projects we can do :)

 

What do you guys think on starting a boat race course and hedge maze?

Just a friendly reminder to all, while castaway event is fun please dont forget the existing normal world.

 

Has the boat race been finished yet?

 

What's next? I did ask pyreflos to post here asking for an area for his maze, he said he would but hasent. Has he contacted you Ryan? Could we contact him if not? Or get someone else to make it if boat race is finished and he's not building it... He made a design in test world.

 

Remember if you need items for farefall public builds there's a public build warehouse in farefall, though I'd check the arrangements before taking, maybe Ryan can shed some light on that?

Haven't been contacted about the maze. Will get a message sent to see if we can arrange something
Also, the boat race is not finished yet. The tunnel has been dug out but needs tidying up. Maybe replace the walls with stonebrick and it needs to be filled with water.

I'm fine with people using the warehouse for public builds only, but if you are unsure just pop me a message (Or ask me in game)

The Boat Race Course is now complete

Thanks to Devon for helping to carve out most of the tunnel and thanks to ninja1o4 for helping to finish off the whole course

Id like to lnow too. There was the whole maze thing built in the test build world, why hasent this been given a spot where we can build it? It doesn't have to be a flattens area, Infact working with the terrain is better, too much flat areas is bad!

I did leave signs in pyreflos' house but have had no reply on the matter.

What does the community think? Where should this maze go?

Also, it's a shame no Farefall residents have posted in the topic since the boat race was finished. I do try my best to get things started but input from the residents themselves would be nice.

Is there actually space there? :s stil think the hedge one pyreflos did looks good.

 

Also I meant to ask, does anyone actually use the archery game?
