If you are inactive for months, don't take part in the community, break town rules or even just login and out to try and reset your inactive period we may remove your house and you will have to start back in sandbox! :( If you would like to use any other material not specified here you must contact the staff member in charge of this town to have it reviewed. We ask the above so all houses fit in nicely with the town style. When asking for sandbox approval you do not need to specify which part of the town you want to live in, only the main town name. When you are approved please move into the first available plot next to someone instead of going out of the way.Staff member in charge: SteerpikeSister
Calisurf 10 Report post Posted February 19, 2012 I love the town of Parivale, but I couldn't help but notice one thing. The theme is stone and the buildings look modern. Is this town supposed to be old west or cool modern Arizona houses?
Jennercyde 81 Report post Posted February 19, 2012 Its none, its just a stone town

Calisurf 10 Report post Posted February 20, 2012 This town has lots of room. I believe there are four estates, each about the size of an old YAMS town. These are gonna be more like cities.

AustinSeb 7 Report post Posted February 29, 2012 Here's an unusual idea. We have a cool double ravine just outside Perivale to the south. (One ravine crosses below the other and the top one is exposed above ground.) What if we explored it, set up torches to chase away the mobs and then made it into a "tourist attraction" with a walkway for a self-guided tour and signs giving names to fanciful features of the cave system? "Perivale's natural wonder" :-) It might be a fun project for a group to do together. Just an idea ...
Which one are you talking about becuase it sounds like the one near the station that is no where near perivale and is for a future project much much latter. EDIT: Ok Ive looked and looked even taken an aerial photo and theres nothing that I can see within the perivale area that is like this, only the one I mentioned above which is 1000 blocks away. EDIT 2: Ok I see what you mean, thanks for pointing out, as I said in game, its a bit too far away to even consider now... I like to keep people close and things close to start with. Steer also has a project she wants to do which is quite far out, and it's like I told her, safe it for latter start closer first.
AustinSeb 7 Report post Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Thanks for taking time to check this out, Darren. You are right: it is definitely outside of town. It is about 75 blocks south of Valeyard Estate (which is undeveloped). The entrance is on the bank of the river that flows from Perivale's Riverside Pleasance, about 120 blocks downstream from the pleasance. Perhaps one day (not now) the pleasance will be expanded downriver -- a riverwalk, docks, boat races, etc. It's a picturesque river, I think, passing under two bridges, and I see lots of possibilities for parks and whatnot. The banks along the river make it unsuitable for buildings. Then the ravine could be included as part of Perivale's park system. So maybe some day. Unless of course, something similar is already done elsewhere first! :-) Edit: If anyone wants to see it, the entrance is at x=-1044 and z=134. Careful not to fall in! If anyone wants to explore it with me some day, let me know! Edited February 29, 2012 by AustinSeb
