I certainly wanted to input some designs if steer was going to approve having one. Seems to me you designed something and we have just gone along with it and you’ve called yourself the architect/builder. I think we could have all came up with a better design if more people had been involved and worked together. Doesn’t help there were 3 things going on at once (Post office/observation tower/library etc). But still I think this has been gone about the wrong way and id had liked it if there was more input from members. It was never even officially announced on here that we were going to have a tower, until you posted that image. Next time something should be posted here confirming something is going to be built, then ask for everyone to send their designs and get more people involved. Still, I really hope you like the work the three of us put into it. linke gave soooo many resources. The last thing I saw was on the 12th of March and it said "Observation tower. once again, needs the right place, once we have that its a go." However as far as I was aware no location had been mentioned in here or others asked for their designs. Its not about you helping out, I appreciate you helping, it's more the fact that others should be allowed to input their designs too and such, there's no need to rush into things. These forums are how I keep updated with what’s happening in each town, as admin I don’t have as much time as id like to be going round every town 24/7 checking on what the latest progress is as I have loads of other things to do but I can quickly check these forums and get an update from my staff quick on what’s happening and see if there’s anything I can help with. Its no ones fault really, just a spark of a monent. I was really looking forward to building this and getting it done, i guess i just jumped in aswell and went at it to quick. [/quote] Library and tower together could make a nice combination but only if done well. I dont agree on trying to make the tallest building on YAMS just for the sake of it though. [/quote] I suggest you look into moving to another town such as farefall or snowheim, towns close from time to time to give other towns a chance, we dont want to end up with one town overcrowded and the other towns with only a few residents. Neither of these really fit my style of architecture, and I was under the impression that building with materials that do not fit the town's style was forbidden. So, what do you suggest I do? [/quote] As I said above it's your choice pick another town or come back some other day when the towns may be open, but bare in mind the following:[list] [*]If you spend to much time hanging around in Sandbox we will evict you which would include all items you own. [/list] It's in your best interest to look at another town, the longer you wait the less chance you will get of picking one of them towns, snowheim or farefall will be the next to close. If you would like to continue this discussion you are welcome to pm me, this is not the place to debate but rather debate what should happen inside the towns with build projects etc. Which by the way if you did not know... just becuase you live in another town it doesnt mean you can't help out on public builds in other towns, in fact I urge everyone to help out in all towns instead of just sticking to one town... its much more fun. My profile --> Edit my profile --> Manage attachments. Once you've created an account, you can upload photos and then you just put those photos on here whether you copy and paste them or just put a link to your account where people can view your photos(That's what I tend to do).
