So I recently purshased The Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and have started by playing Skyrim first, so playing the titles backwards. I have started like this becuase I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Skyrim first before I started on the others. I have been told they are all quite different.

So what does everything else thing of The Elder Scrolls? When did you start playing? Which one do you enjoy the most? What do you like, dislike etc? Tell me all, discuss all! :)

On a side note anyone played Drakan: Order of the Flame? I used to like the open areas in which you can fly dragons. :)

i played morrowind and loved it. was the first game that didn't feel restrictive as you could make your own character class and pick up any skill you wanted. i spent months on it, and never actually completed it as i didn't want it to be over. :(

when it gets mucky I feel disgrace.

I started with oblivion and right from the start I fell in love with the game play and all the customization. I played oblivion for months and months. then I heard Skyrim was coming out and I was ecstatic. I went to gamestop and preordered the game. At the midnight release everyone was talking about the game and there expectations. It was nice because you could have a conversation with a random person about the game and it would sound like you knew that person your whole life. I got the game at 12:05 and went home to play it and I was so impressed with it. I beat the main quest in two weeks then did a few side quests and I even made a second character. Overall I love the elder scrolls series and I can't wait for any dlc they release.

I started on Morrowind loved every bit of it, my favorite part was how you could do anything unrestricted by your level and class. Then Oblivion took that away but it brought a lot of cool things like the dark brotherhood even though it couldn't compare to morrowind in my opinion. Skyrim was a large step up to Oblivion, and near the same level as morrowind. I have a very good character in Skyrim and will continue to play for a long time. Maybe I just liked morrowind best because it was my first TES game, I've seem the same in other people.

I started on Skyrim(Just got introduced to the series) and Google was my best friend due to the 9.5 rating glitches.
My favorite part is the exploring the different areas. At first I had no idea how to level up in Skyrim but it got better over time.
My first playthrough I tried to kill so many essential plot characters while my cousin kept on telling me to kill a boy that you couldnt kill.
Good memories

Skyrim is my first TES game too... I watched Kel play Oblivion and Morrowind, but looked so BORING :O I dunno if Skyrim is put together differently from the others, but it reminds me of Fallout 3, and I adore Fallout 3. Also horses. And dragons. And I'm a cat.

I had no choice BUT to like it, really.

I started with Oblivion and I just loved that game. I put in at least 300+ hours into my second playthrough and I still havent completed it. I just love the details that Bethesda put into their games. In the Elder Scrolls one it is mainly through the history of the land that is just so vast.

Personally I did prefer Oblivion to Skyrim, to me it seemed bigger and a bit more varied but I dont know if that was just because I havent played it as much.

1 thing I would suggest to anyone though is if you liked Elder Scrolls III - V play Fallout 3. That takes the things from ES and puts it into a future wasteland. Just avoid the Deathclaws.
