Hey everyone,

Good news we have now upgraded to 24 player slots with 2GB of RAM!

A big shout out to the following people, because without their donations it would not have been possible:

• Madrad "a.k.a. Rob" (For his one of big lump sum donation which is the biggest donation to date, hes a great mate to have)
• JBryant (For her continuous donating even though I've had to keep telling her multiple times are you really sure you want to, she’s such a sweetie and a great moderator to have around. I love chatting to her off game too via email, she’s a good listener, maybe someone say I’ll meet her)
• 666darius666 (For his recent committed donations towards the server, he's pledged to donate every month so long as he stays on the server, I won't hold him to that though, but it's that kind of commitment I appreciate ever so much, more than words can say!)
• Blooba96 "a.k.a. tyler" (For his recent donation, he's always such a lovely guy to talk to on the server and I'm happy to hear he loves how the server is running, it makes me feel like I'm really doing a good job – Tyler you should apply to become a CSO sometime – you have the attitude we are looking for)
• And finally FireFrak (For the first donation towards server costs, I will always remember it, I’m ever so grateful he did, he's always welcome on the server. If you have a chance stop by his ICE Hockey Rink near the snow lodge, that’s south west of spawn tower, it’s such a great building even if it is made of cobblestone haha)

But don’t stop there people keep them donations coming, every single donation goes towards server costs, if it’s not used that month it’s banked for next month. I know there’s a few of you out there who have showed interest in donating but don’t have paypal, so if you don’t want to or can’t use paypal let me know there’s other ways I can accept! As always only donate if you are really sure you want to and you can afford too.

But that’s not all, there’s other good news, we have chosen our next lot of CSO’s (Community Support Officers), they will be appointed once I have had a one to one talk with them!

But wait again there’s more good news, the CSO Group will be split up into 3 different groups (Trainee CSO/CSO/Senior CSO), they will all have the same reasonability of showing new players around and being there for the community, but the further up the scale they are the more permissions they will have. Our first senior CSO’s will be 666darius666 and DeathLinaty with more to be promoted soon.

although i remember one of the very first things I said was that i enjoy small servers. but i'm sure ill love all the extra slav-- i mean members :]

Also, I would be more than willing to donate every cent i had to YAMS. only problem is that i dont have any XD.
I'm in the process of hunting down a job so soon enough hopefully.

Yep I remember when you said that ben! But it was getting ridiculous none of the good long time members could get on, including myself! of course whos to say we will or wont get on now with 24 player slots but hey its my best shot! I hope you stay with us! And I am making sure we have enough staff to cover as best as we can. Also I don't avertise the server anywhere except this blog/forum and id like to keep it that way, I get enough traffic so no need to shoot ourselves in the foot by asking more players to come on via other methods!

Can you help it if you have the best minecraft server out there? See how much support you get?

Maybe with the extra player slots we can get some of our abandoned towns repopulated. We've been working very hard to improve our welcoming process and we get new players on a daily basis.

So if you love YAMS, continue to show your support by being friendly and helping newcomers get aquainted, volunteering to work on community projects, and donating any extra money you have laying around to keeping the server going strong!

Hope you are all enjoying the upgrade. No complaints so far, though it can be rather busy at times so please make sure we all work together! :-)
