E3 predictions

Hey guys in case you don't know E3 is within the next week. Don't know what E3 is? shame on you . E3 is short for Electronic Entertainment Expo, and is the biggest gaming convention in the gaming calendar where the biggest names in the gaming world talk about upcoming products (Related to gaming). It was where the sega saturn, sega dreamcast, sony playstation 1, sony playstation 2, sony playstation 3, Sony PSP, Sony Vita, SNK's Neo Geo CD, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS. As well as many many many games (definitely more than i have fingers). I think this year's E3 is going to be big and here are my predictions:-[list]
[*]Next Fallout Announced
[*]New Tom Clancy Splinter Cell Game Announced
[*]Crackdown 3 Announced
[*]Konami will not do a live press conference
[*]Crytek will have gameplay footage of ryse
[*]Remedy will give us another Alan Wake trailer

[*]Epic games will have a demo of their next game
[*]Lionhead will not show Milo and will show Fable the journey
[*]I don't think the next Xbox or Playstation will be announced
[*]Nintendo will shed some specs on the WiiU
[*]The Tony Hawk franchise will make a comeback
[*]Criterion will announce a new retail Burnout game
[*]Sound Shapes will be demoed
[*]Project Woodstock announced (The successor to zune)

So these are my predictions for E3 2012

I just know that Microsoft will win the press conference will be the best as per normal.

Also we know that the Pro Skater series is back with Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD a remake of the best levels from THPS 1 & 2 (with THPS 3 DLC) which comes out next month (i hope)

The main press confrences are over... so what does everyone think

Personally the only 2 I found interesting were Microsoft & Ubisoft's I am loving the look of the new Tomb Raider and the new game Watch Dogs from Ubisoft

Sony's as per normal I regretted watching and found rather booring.

Nintendo just didnt bring anything really new to the table. This picture kinda sums up there press conference.

I didn't really watch any of the conferences, but there are some awesome new trailers out. Halo 4, Assassin's Creed III, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, to name but a few. I have a feeling this Christmas is going to be great

Something i forgot to add that was a good point in Nintendos conference was Pikmin 3 and Lego City Undercover... Also Ive just finished watching the Lego Lord Of The Rings trailer (wooooo)

To be quite honest I'm more looking forward to the 3DS conference Nintendo are having today. There wasn't really much said about the WiiU in the main one.
I missed Sonys press conference and judging by Robs thoughts, I'm glad I did
Microsoft and Ubisofts conferences were the winners for me with loads of new games/content.

I saw Microsoft's and Ubisoft's media briefings and there was stuff I liked here is my list:-[list]
[*]Microsoft's new set redesign, I mean seriously wasn't it sexy
[*]Halo 4 Live action to gameplay was really good.
[*]Tom Clancy Blacklist reveal
[*]Tomb Raider's destructible environment
[*]Smartglass Technology
[*]Wreckateer (Hey don't judge me I like my kinect )
[*]Black Ops 2's demo
[*]Matter, don't know what it's like but I looks awesome
[*]Forza Horizon, a bit like burnout which is AWESOOOOOOME!
[*]Watch_Dogs' look epic!!!

What I didn't like:-[list]
[*]Tobuscus is a really bad host and is worse when together with the other host (forgotten her name)
[*]South Park the Stick of Truth, the game I'm not fond of and the creators I'm not fond of.
[*]When ubisoft dodged the question - How much emphasis is placed on killing the enemy

My thoughts

Microsoft: I had no real expectations when they brought Usher on stage
Sony: Kingdom Hearts PS3 where is it
Sorry other than that for Sony I loved the Playstation Home feature for E3 I though that was neat
Nintendo: Only Good thing was Pikman 3 (they though bringing miamoto to the stage made it better well it didnt i didnt enjoy nintendo Wheres the Wii U)
