Crispy BartyJnr Barras 227 Report post Posted June 11, 2013 What sort of monitor are we talking? Mac, pc ? Flat, old school brick? Sounds like the cable is loose and moving to disconnect your image from either the back or the tower base... If a laptop, then it's probably got some form of liquid damage. darrenstraight 2,330 Report post Posted June 12, 2013 Just like Bartys said check cables, normally this happens with broken video leads, if it's a non laptop monitor also check for kinks/twists in the wire.

HugoCahill 3 Report post Posted June 17, 2013 Ya, macbook pro Laptop. Would you know how to reapair the water damage. Or if you tell me how to open my laptop I'll happely take everthing out looking for a wire
Crispy BartyJnr Barras 227 Report post Posted June 18, 2013 With a mac? Taking it to the Genius Bar is your best bet. If it is water damage, if it hasn't fixed itself, something's probably corroded, or you've managed to knock a wire out. I wouldn't suggest opening it up yourself at all, as that wil completely negate any warranty on it, and if anything goes wrong with it, apple wouldn't touch it.
