Depending on guests depends on whether I'm interested. Not to sound nasty, but I wouldn't travel all that way just too meet people up without there being a bigger reason. And if I was to go, it would be Saturday (cos it's the longest con day) and I'd be in at about 10 and gone about 7ish, depending on travel too and from kings cross.

 

From the looks of the site for travel, it sounds like a big of a faff on to get there via tube... 10 min walk from something near the river or something. So I'm humming and harring on it even being possible, especially with my money at present.

well after much searching and chatting tonight (whilst at work  ) and provided i get sat off work (fingers crossed). aiming to get there early morning sat, so can do either sat or sunday for con. which ever suits most others

YAMS people and maybe a friend or two of mine that are in London now.

 

The main reason all along was meeting with YAMS people, but if there had been some things that really interested me, there would have been a greater chance of me going.

Just to clear this up, I went to see wolverine today, and if anyone else has seen it the beginning is horrible for someone who hates death and bombs, so if there happens to be a wolverine panel, or stand I'm staying away because that has scarred me for life. Just to make sure you's know why I will act weird

am tempted to get ticket for the sunday purely for when they reduce things to get rid of them giving me all day saturday to do whatever and where ever. (provided am not working)

will be looking to book hotel soon for the sat night. found a couple near the docklands close to the venue for the con (3 or 4 stops away at most) or if anyone knows anywhere else that might be better as was thinking something bit more central for the saturday might be better and then just drive or tube down to the docklands area for the con. as has been said the con is more of a bonus addition to the trip so might be happier stopping more central as the docklands is quite far out from alot of things.
