I'm hoping someone can help me out Basically my home computer is where I used to connect to yams from as it's always been quite fast and free of lag but since the 1.7.2 update when I go to connect properly to a server as it always says 'can't reach server' in red and I can't reach yams-like ever. Sometimes I can connect after I refresh the page but I can't talk at all or move two blocks without excruciatingly painful lag. I can connect on my laptop but it's very laggy and difficult for me to play on. I don't have any mods installed either and I don't really want to install optifine. Anyone got any ideas? darrenstraight 2,330 Report post Posted November 22, 2013 I'm assuming you've created a brand new profile just for 1.6.4? Also don't be afraid to try optifne, theres a very simple installer for it, it even creates a new profile http://optifined.net/adloadx.php?f=OptiFine_1.6.4_HD_U_C7.jar Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I never thought optifine would work so well I seem to have no lag at all now and I can connect from my home computer-it must have been massively laggy to not even connect in the first place-thank you Darren!
