well, i recently found a plugin for bukkit that would enable you to make chairs, i think it would fit yams, because there are alot of "fake" chairs that could be actually used with this.

This is a cool plugin, however its not really a good idea to implement this into YAMS since we already have too many plugins

.

I actually quite like this, I dont tend to install plugins if they change the gameplay in a way that you can craft new items or people rely on them if they are going to be staying forever installed, for example minecart mania or craftbook becuase people will design things then when the plugin goes everything is useless... but this doesnt require you to craft anything new!

I was ready to say no becuase I though it would involve new crafting things but after seeing the video it would be interesting to test it out.

It was only yesterday I was thinking why cant we sit down in minecraft, actually i think that a lot! So I would be happy to have a go of this (as a temp test on server) if enough people think its worth it and it actually works!

Hello little update on this I have tested this plugin out however I will not be putting it on becuase though you see yourself sitting down fine :lol:

however other people do not, they see your head stcuk in the ground or something... :S I quote from the plugin site:

Due to a bug in Minecraft, you will only see yourself sitting as normal. Others will see you under the chair.
Please do not report this, it is a known bug. It cannot be fixed until a bug in Minecraft, introduced in 1.6, gets fixed.

So we shall have to wait and see if this bug get's fixed in MC - I'll be keeping my eye out!

Ahh, so pretty much it lets you sit on stairs. Wonder if we got the server to sit on a set of stairs, it would be like a group photo! Once it's fixed, of course.
