The competition will be split into two categories small (16*16) and large (32*32). Schedule of events Wed 10th August - Sign up begins Sat 27th August 16:00 BST - Sign up closes Sun 28th August 16:00 BST - Location will be anounced as well as the competitors being given their plot number for their piece of art Sat 3rd September 16:00 BST - Competition closes and no more editing works, judging begins, public vote opens. Sun 4th September 16:00 BST - 16x16 Public vote announced 16:10 BST - 16x16 Judged vote announced 16:20 BST - 32x32 Public vote announced 16:30 BST - 32x32 Judged vote announced (note 16:00 BST is 07:00 PST, 10:00 EST) <<<EDIT>>> The location for this event is beside Daffodile (aka Darren's Party) Station. All plots have been alocated and sign posted. <<<>>> Prizes will be awarded to the winners. To join simply sign up in this post stating which category you would like to enter. Sign up will run from now up to 16:00 GMT 27th August 2011. [hr] [u]Rules[/u] 1. You may only enter into 1 category either the small or large 2. Your work of art is still subject to the rules of YAMS which means no questionable objects or words are to be included. 3. The word of the judges will be final. (Judges to be announced before the end of signup) 4. Your art plot will be set at a specific size and while you may go under the limit you must not go over the limit of your category. Any found going over the limit will be disqualified. 5. We've done so before with public events. We'll see how it goes. Also, if you do not sign up correctly, you will not be entered into the competition.
