Just to get a conversation going in the forums i thought id ask, If you were stuck on a desert island what one block would you like to have ?

personally i would have wood as its probably the most versatile material in minecraft :)

Awww doe it have to be a block? :( Can't I say a material, id choose leather becuase then I could craft myself a leather volleyball and call it Wilson and start talking to it like in Castaway! :D

If I can't take an item then I choose a Mob Spawner - a pig one please!!! :D Who needs a block of bacon when you have fresh meat! :D

Failing that probably wooden log.

JB You can choose a red flower as it's a block not an item! :P

Well, it melts ice... guess that could be assumed to be a yes? But I think I'll join the consensus and say wood block. So useful.

assuming you mean i get an unlimited supply of the one type of block then I would want sand. that way i could shape my island and even build land bridges so i wouldn't be stuck on the island anymore.

The choice between Survival and Flowers is always a hard one : P

And I guess it would have to be multiple of that block, or else wood wouldn't be very useful lol

I'd probably go with a wood block as well, it would be pretty useful :)

I'd say a nether block (the portal material) even one block of the stuff can transport you to the nether. Then just lay waste to all the zombie pigmen for free porkchops! :D
