Bukkit has a new recommended build for 1.8.1. But our plugins haven't been updated yet, but hopefully soon

Latest news from my host - if they are not done by tonight, I'll test myself if I get time, need to make sure it works with all our plugins!! All of which have not been updated yet.

Bukkit have today released a recommended build for Minecraft 1.8.1. Our team are looking into getting this ready for our servers and updates on its availability will be posted here as they are available.

I shall be providing everyone with a copy of the map!! Unless anyone has any objections... one of my objectives right from the start was to always release this map back to the community as a reminder of what we can do as a community together! :-) Thats why Ive been making sure place is looking good for everyone! :-)

I hope everyone has learnt things from this map, I know who to recruit now for my wild west town!

And we know that mushrooms can work as a town now, without creeepers.

This has also has helped me better understand how I need to prepare YAMS for the future and if some of my ideas are going to work... so thank you for all being guinea pigs!!! there helping me.

Don't worry about that you know I already said you could be included!!! Just want to make sure all the other towns have had a chance to settle down first, I've have a massive area of desert reserverd for it for ages!! Not far from where you live actually, you may know it! I've always envisioned a nice wild west town there just never got round to sorting someone to start it off for me.

I'll let you know as soon as I'm ready, hopefuly not long, we just need to settle back down first when I put the old map is put back on.

So here's a question... since 1.9 is apparently right around the corner, are we going to go through a similar process again? Especially since it seems that snow is missing in 1.8, and wont show until 1.9.

I wouldn't mind a revisit to the Island, but it seems like an awful lot of work for you

I don't see why not!

I have no problem with doing the work as long as people have fun! While still respecting the rules and appreciate the work I put into it.

Someone should do a like speed making of this that would be awesome like Jon hes good at that sort of stuff hes a great video maker

ATTENTION: Server will be down for some time this afternoon/evening British Standard Time while I finally get us moved over to 1.8 with plugins working, I shall try my best to be as quick as posisble but I would prefer it's done right the first time then having to keep restarting while you are all conected... so if you recieve a message saying you are not whitelisted this is why!

Yes all plugins have to re-configured and re-installed manually by darren i believe from what we have spoken regarding it.

Yeah it's easier that way! In the long run becuase of so many changes that happen between updates, also nice to just clear out the system!
