This is mainly for Darren.

When we finally come to the time when we must clear out things for new content, we will most likely start from scratch.

If we can't use beta levels anymore, it may take a while, but could you try to store a copy of all the items players have placed/stored, and then see if you can give them back to the player?

If we can use beta levels, but there is too much new content, will you be happy with leaving our houses and small segments of our towns intact so that you may wipe the rest of the chunks for the content? It would mean downtime, but we'd be happier if we still had our 500 diamonds and houses that took ages to build ;) .

 <_< I'm sure you'll do the best way when the time finally comes.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback, as explained here at this link: http://www.darrenstr...venture-update/

Q: Will you be resetting the map/world?
A: At this current moment in time no.

Q: Does “current moment” mean you will be in the future?
A: I along with my moderators have been discussing 1.8 and the final release in great detail, we have come up with what we believe is a good way forward for YAMS, however a final plan and timeline will need to be drawn up before this information is released to CSOs first and then Members. The changes you are seeing in YAMS now are all part of these “bigger” changes I’ve said about before and are somewhat part of a trial to see if our plans will work or not. Don’t worry we will release more information as soon as we can, and the bigger changes are not happening until the final release anyway!

We have plans, we just need to set timelimes and start putting things into action, unfortunately there's not much we can will the final release as the terrain will be changing again, however we are doing everything we can at the moment... it's a lot of behind the scene stuff! Don't worry though you will all have your part to play when the times ready...

As for your stuff, let's just say we have a plan for this too that is fair for everyone... :) Don't worry your head everythings being though of.

But right now main concern is 1.8 which is cooming soon. :)
