Hello and welcome to Maplehold,

Maplehold has some very interesting scenery and has 3 different biomes in a small area around the welcome centre, you'll have to go there and explore a bit to see the scenery although some of it will become quite obvious as you are travelling there! Maplehold is a town based on wood. Pine wood, birch wood, oak wood and even jungle wood! It is based in the south of YAMS and will be needing plenty of help from the community very soon to keep it growing!

Town buildings and attractions include:

• The Bridge
• The Enchantment Building
• Potions Dungeon
• The Library

Town plot regulations:

Materials for main outside walls:

• All types of wooden plank materials.
• All types of logs for detail such as corners/ rims.

Materials for main outside roof:

• All types of wooden plank stairs and slabs.
• All types of wooden logs as extra detail.

Materials for outside areas within plot area:

• All types of glass for windows.
• All types of fences and iron bars for balcony rails.
• Small amount of other materials for outside furniture such as lampposts, glowstone. seats, tables etc

Dimensions and plot sizes:

• Your plot size is 14x14 this includes your house walls.
• Do not go over the imaginary markes plot border.
• You must only have 2 levels above ground to your house.
• You may have a pointy roof with an attic inside.
• Basements are allowed, you will be encased in bedrock.

Exceptions to going over plot line by 1 block only:

• Slopped roof overhang using stairs or slabs.
• One high row of leaves as a shrub around the house base.
• Flowers, vines and tall grass such as shrubs and ferns.
• Signs, torches and trap doors flush against your wall.

We ask the above so all houses fit in nicely with the town style.

When asking for sandbox approval you do not need to specify which part of the town you want to live in, only the main town name.

When you are approved please move into the first available plot next to someone instead of going out of the way.

Seems as though i should probably post something here, Basically i'm waiting a few more days so that everyone's settled in a bit better in the town before we start doing anything major, and the first thing i've been thinking about the community doing is a giant bridge connecting two of the mountains up near the welcome centre, we can then use this as part of a path to lead to the first building made by the community, if you want a say in what's going to be built there then i suggest you get posting. Any design ideas for the bridge would be much appreciated as well! Remember, we are a wooden town Opinions please!

The bridge should be one of two designs, it should either be a big grand bridge or a small rope bridge.
I personally think the bridge should be a huge grand bridge like the ones you see leading up to castles

Oh of course it's going to be grand no point it leading up to an awesome community build if it's going to be a shoddy rope bridge

My fellow Maplehold residents! We will need to be collecting the wood this weekend for the bridge project, get as much of each type of log as is possible please! If we get too much we can always keep it for any up and coming projects so don't worry about cutting down too many trees Get chopping!

Along with soccerdude6327, I think that Maplehold should have a bigger farm. Since the city is growing, we need more food to support the community. I am sure that all the residents would appreciate it if this could happen. Thank you!

Right guys lets get rolling!

• Have we collected enough wood yet for this bridge? If not why not? Are people holding out on us? If so start chopping, tell everyone you see or know in maplehold that we need wood... come on let's get this first public build done!
• It's been suggested we need bigger farms? Please discuss! What would you like to see? How can you help? Again tell other in maplehold to get on these forums and discuss.

We have all the wood ready for the new farm and i have found a good area to have it, the bridge will be put on hold until the farm is done. We should have enough wood for the bridge as well thanks to D8 and co.! Thaks guys, hopefully we'll start work on the farm at the weekend or tomorrow

i just have some suggestions for maplehold to improve it:

First, we could use an animal farm. At least that would be helpful.
Secondly, a public brewing and enchantment room
Thirdly, maybe street lights.
Fourth, a community room with community chests so that we can aquire new items and put others in.
Lastly, an atrraction; maybe a maze; just something fun to do and complete. (no lights maze--possibility)

These are just ideas to improve the town of Maplehold.

I do agree with d8g4cnd24_h7. We do need a animal farm. Another thing that i would like to add that is we need to expand the newly built farm. I would be happy to expand the ground it sits on, but it does not fit the picture i had in my mind about the new farm.\

I agree with most of these.

Just remember dont make everything flat, I like hills and such and flattening everything looks boring and dull, make sure theres little hills ans such!

Another thing i will ask if i can do, is if i can change the design for the farm. We have to much water and not enough crops.

Yea, you can help. When you can, come online and grab some dirt and help! The more people the better. After that, we can re-design the farm. It isn't efficient and not big.

Wolf has kindly redone the farm so that it's more efficient, the next thing we'll be working on is the bridge and the a warehouse type thing to keep materials in for future community builds so that everyone knows where the materials are for them when you're helping out We need designs for the bridge! any ideas for it would be great and would be good if i could have them as soon as possible!
