As for the observation tower, thats steers call.. maybe get others to post there designs too.

I decided to throw in an idea into the post office pot since everyone else was. I've had this idea for a few weeks now. It took me a little while to figure out how to upload these so I apologize if it's confusing.

I hope you guys liked them.

** oh and Steer, I was able to fit 42 boxes with room to add more if ever needed.

To be honest I’m disappointed that no one else was offered a chance to input their thoughts on a design. I certainly wanted to input some designs if steer was going to approve having one. Seems to me you designed something and we have just gone along with it and you’ve called yourself the architect/builder. I think we could have all came up with a better design if more people had been involved and worked together. Doesn’t help there were 3 things going on at once (Post office/observation tower/library etc). But still I think this has been gone about the wrong way and id had liked it if there was more input from members.

It was never even officially announced on here that we were going to have a tower, until you posted that image.

Next time something should be posted here confirming something is going to be built, then ask for everyone to send their designs and get more people involved.

Im sorry,I guess i should have waited,although there was around 3 or so days since steer posted the projects going ahead :/ Ill step back from the drawing board for some time now and get back in my box. Still, I really hope you like the work the three of us put into it. linke gave soooo many resources. Gonna get those back to the lil guy tommorow or so i hope Also, i just went along with what was said as steer asked me to build it earlier :/

Im not sure where you think she said that, but I don’t see any mention of that on the forums at all. The last thing I saw was on the 12th of March and it said "Observation tower. once again, needs the right place, once we have that its a go." However as far as I was aware no location had been mentioned in here or others asked for their designs.

Its not about you helping out, I appreciate you helping, it's more the fact that others should be allowed to input their designs too and such, there's no need to rush into things. These forums are how I keep updated with what’s happening in each town, as admin I don’t have as much time as id like to be going round every town 24/7 checking on what the latest progress is as I have loads of other things to do but I can quickly check these forums and get an update from my staff quick on what’s happening and see if there’s anything I can help with.

I understand that these forums are am easier way for you to stay in touch,but i do think it was just a spare of the moment thing.It happened in game,when the far back corner blocked was pointed out and i was told to build it. Its no ones fault really, just a spark of a monent. I was really looking forward to building this and getting it done, i guess i just jumped in aswell and went at it to quick.

ok so i have a few designs for the post office but have decided that project should wait a little more and we should build something else before we do that.

so this week's project will be: The Library! i have wanted this done for ages so get your skates on and lets get it done!

As much as I'd like to help with the library and the observation tower, I've had a thought...

We could make them one building, a library with a huge tower in the centre, with the new height it could be the tallest building in YAMS!

Library and tower together could make a nice combination but only if done well. I dont agree on trying to make the tallest building on YAMS just for the sake of it though. The metropolis build challenge is there for tall buildings!
