Password Recovery Speeds: How long will your password stand up
Here’s a pretty cool website which shows you the approximate amount of time required for a computer or aย cluster of computers to guess various passwords using a simple brute force method attack.

At least I know people won’t be guessing mine very quickly ๐
I have a system of passwords. Low, medium and high security. Low is for sites I sign up just for one thing/article or something. Medium is for semi-important websites where I might go sometimes. High security is for very important things, like primary email accounts: 63 letter, mixed number, symbols and case. Very secure, but annoying to type. ๐ (If you’re wondering how I manage to remember it, rather than changing the password regularly, I just add a new password onto the end of the old one, and it gradually builds up.) ๐

Just one problem, within corporate environments you may have to change your password at least every 2 weeks plus normally you have to wait until youรขโฌโขve changed your password at least 4 or 5 times before you can go back to the first one you had!

Well it’d be pretty long then if I changed it that regularly. ๐ Hopefully nobody will guess it – it’s pretty random. I’m thinking of cutting a bit out, so it doesn’t get too long to remember.
P.S. Congrats with the Buddy Programme. ๐
