It’s Summer Time 2006
Well it’s summer time for me now, as I’ve finished Uni/College, and all I have to do now is wait for my results to come in the post which will probably be after the 5th of July or so once an external verifier has checked all the exams and assignments we have all done.
But it doesn’t end here for me, because I have plans to go back next year and do one more year with the University of Kent, to make sure I get a full Honours degree BSc (Hons) in Information Technology.
Then once I’ve done that last year I guess it will be time to start searching for a proper full time salaried Job, kind of scary stuff if you ask me, as I’ve been a student and part time worker for ages now, but hey I’m ready for it and already have some ideas for who I would like to work for, any guesses? 🙂
Anyway the mandatory and optional modules I can take next year are as follows:
- Preterm
Foundations of Information Technology and Computing - Autumn term
Computing Project (To continue in spring term)
Distributed Systems and Networks
IT Consultancy Methods
Optional Module (one from below) - Spring term
Computing Project (Continued from autumn term)
IT Consultancy Practice 2
Optional Module (one from below)
Optional Module (one from below) - Module options
Natural Computation
Computer Security and Cryptography
Electronic Commerce
Computing Law & Professional Responsibility
Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing
Small Business Management
Out of theses optional modules that I can choose from I’ve chosen to do Natural Computation, Computing Law & Professional Responsibility and Small Business Management because though I might not be able to get them if enough people don’t apply for these ones, I think that these optional modules might come in handy at some point in my life especially if I want to go into management or want to know more about health and safety in an IT Workplace.
But before I start studying for next year, I have some plans to do which include:
- Meet up with some friends for a summer drink.
- Meet up with some friends in London.
- Go to Alton Towers with some friends for a two day trip, depending on the price!
- Try to meet up with some new people.
- Learn something new, not sure what yet.
- Get myself a bit more of a tan.
- Save up some more money.
- And more…
Ok everyone have a nice summer and hey if anybody want’s to meet up for a drink or anything let me know, I’m always up for it, especially when I’m not working! 🙂
And before I forget, thank you to all my blog visitors, if it wasn’t for you great lot I’m sure I wouldn’t be blogging, or at least I would be blogging a lot less than what I am now, so thank you for keeping me on my toes! 😉
