{"id":1000,"date":"2006-11-01T20:04:48","date_gmt":"2006-11-01T19:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2006\/11\/01\/my-1000-blog-post\/"},"modified":"2006-11-01T20:07:34","modified_gmt":"2006-11-01T19:07:34","slug":"my-1000-blog-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2006\/11\/01\/my-1000-blog-post\/","title":{"rendered":"My 1000 Blog Post!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well it&#8217;s been 508 Days since I started this blog with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2005\/06\/11\/welcome-to-my-new-blog\/\">my first blog post<\/a> on the 11th of June\u00a02005\u00a0(my 20th Birthday) and well it looks like I&#8217;ve finally made it to 1000 Blog Posts with this post, and just in time for today the 1st of November 2006 which means I can give you some visitor statistics\u00a0for the whole of\u00a0October 2006 as well as other stats for near enough the whole life of my blog.<\/p>\n<p>So as of right now there are currently 1000 posts (227,992 Words) which all together have accumulated a total of 1,584 comments, contained within 18 categories.\u00a0That of which <a href=\"http:\/\/akismet.com\/\">Akismet<\/a> has protected\u00a0me from 17,254 spam comments which I&#8217;m happy I didn&#8217;t have to moderate, though I do have to say I go through all the spam comments just in case a non-spam comment got misplaced!<\/p>\n<p>And by looking at <a href=\"http:\/\/awstats.sourceforge.net\/\">Awstats<\/a>\u00a0my web server logfile analyzer, I can tell you that for\u00a0this October 2006 I have the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unique visitors: 23628<\/li>\n<li>Number of visits: 39665<\/li>\n<li>Pages: 338722<\/li>\n<li>Hits: 810219<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Which in my opinion are quite good, if you compare them to November 2005:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unique visitors: 1737<\/li>\n<li>Number of visits: 3978<\/li>\n<li>Pages: 20239<\/li>\n<li>Hits: 84720<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And as for the overall stats since this blog\/website has been up, well I can only give you the stats from the beginning of August 2006 to the end of October 2006, as I unfortunately lost the first month and half of stats, though I guess it&#8217;s no big loss!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unique visitors: 92673<\/li>\n<li>Number of visits: 213065<\/li>\n<li>Pages: 1781806<\/li>\n<li>Hits: 7958008<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As for search keyphrases, well\u00a01261\u00a0different keyphrases were used to find my site in\u00a0October 2006, here are the top 10 with the amount of times they were used\u00a0plus their overal usage\u00a0percentage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vtunnel | 2692 | 43.8 %<\/li>\n<li>vtunnel | myspace | 292 | 4.7 %<\/li>\n<li>sites like vtunnel | 190 | 3 %<\/li>\n<li>v-tunnel | 85 | 1.3 %<\/li>\n<li>https\/\/www.vtunnel.com | 78 | 1.2 %<\/li>\n<li>lvcp | 74 | 1.2 %<\/li>\n<li>websites like vtunnel | 71 | 1.1 %<\/li>\n<li>vtunnel.com | 71 | 1.1 | % |<\/li>\n<li>vtunnel proxy | myspace | 65 | 1 %<\/li>\n<li>ww2.vtunnel.com | 54 | 0.8 %<\/li>\n<li>Other phrases | 2473 | 40.2 %<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By looking at these you would think that my Blog\u00a0is\u00a0all about VTunnel, yet I have only ever\u00a0posted one post about VTunnel, all my other posts that contained the word VTunnel were about the amount of times people have found my blog because of that post. So I guess it&#8217;s not surprising that my most commented post is about VTunnel!<\/p>\n<p>Which brings me to my\u00a010 most commented posts, which though rich in comments are not always rich in
