Another update has just been posted a Hosting-Unlimited.net in regards with the recent downtime of sites hosted with them on their Cassandra server:<\/p>\n
** UPDATE 14:45 hrs**
\nUnfortunately, this has failed. Here is the course of action which is now being taken, which despite taking some time, is the quickest and safest course available<\/p>\n1. The primary drive is being re-mapped
\n2. The server software will then be re-installed
\n3. The most recent backups will be restored (as at 06:00 hrs BST 4th September 2005)<\/p>\nMin & Max timescales are:-
\n1. 2 – 12 hours
\n2. 3 hours
\n3. Immediate – 5 hours, depending on how your account username falls alphabetically.<\/p>\nWork has already begun as above. We are confident it will not run to anything like the maximum timescales, but are telling you them just in case.<\/p>\n
