{"id":1342,"date":"2007-08-12T12:38:05","date_gmt":"2007-08-12T11:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2007\/08\/12\/perfect-10-porn-site-sues-microsoft\/"},"modified":"2007-08-12T12:38:05","modified_gmt":"2007-08-12T11:38:05","slug":"perfect-10-porn-site-sues-microsoft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2007\/08\/12\/perfect-10-porn-site-sues-microsoft\/","title":{"rendered":"Perfect 10 Porn site sues Microsoft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soft-core porn site <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.perfect10.com\/\" title=\"Perfect 10\">Perfect 10<\/a> is suing <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/\" title=\"Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a>, claiming that their <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/search.msn.com\/\" title=\"MSN search\">MSN search engine<\/a> is providing links and images to sites that are illegally hosting its content.<\/p>\n<p>But Microsoft isn&#8217;t the company&#8217;s first target, as it recently lost similar cases against <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/\" title=\"Google\">Google<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/\" title=\"Amazon\">Amazon<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/a9.com\/\" title=\"A9 search\">A9 search<\/a>, all of which it is appealing.<\/p>\n<p>The suit was filed on Tuesday in a California district court and alleges that the MSN image search engine creates unauthorised thumbnails of Perfect 10&#8217;s premium content, as well as including links to see full-size versions of the images for free.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint also claims that the search engine is finding passwords to its paid-for content on other sites, thereby allowing it to access Perfect 10&#8217;s pay-only material, and that Microsoft is receiving money through advertising from websites that are illegally hosting the images.<\/p>\n<p>Via: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vnunet.com\/vnunet\/news\/2196412\/porn-site-sues-microsoft\">Vnunet<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Soft-core porn site Perfect 10 is suing Microsoft, claiming that their MSN search engine is providing links and images to sites that are illegally hosting its content.
