Microsoft has launched<\/a> a UK startup fund called the Microsoft Startup Accelerator Programme<\/font><\/a>. It’s designed to work with startups in the UK that are interested in using some of Microsoft’s products, like Silverlight <\/font><\/a>and Live Services, which is of course Microsoft’s suite of web-based applications.<\/p>\n

Five companies have joined the program so far, including Ether Digital’s platform for Internet video , Zebtab’s desktop video application, Corebridge’s CRM tools, ViaPost’s electronic document delivery, and Miomi’s mashup for users’ interactive timelines’ incorporation of multimedia.<\/p>\n
