The building, constructed in 1908 and originally used by the Navy as an indoor Drill School for recruits, combines the best of modern design with the historic nature of the building. It is thought to be the longest Library in Europe housing learning resources, study spaces, training and seminar rooms.<\/p>\n
We are here to help you during your studies at the Universities at Medway. We can help you find books, journal articles, electronic information and assist you in using information technology. The team of Drill Hall staff are here to help you make the best use of the resources available. We have over 147,000 items, 370 computers and 250 study spaces.<\/p>\n
Resources encompass the areas of Science and Engineering, Social Science and Health Care, Law, Business and Humanities.
