I have just installed the “That Vista Blog for WordPress 1.5.x” a wordpress theme by William Lay which makes your Blog look like the windows vista aero theme.<\/p>\n

But after installing it I noticed that many of you have experienced the same problem as I with the That Vista Theme for your wordpress Blog and that is that some people who view the Blog in browsers like IE6 see the middle part of our Blog slightly displaced to the left, as in the image below:<\/p>\n

This makes the blog look very uneven to somebody who deals with web designs, so after taking a look at the source files I soon realized of an easy way to fix this.<\/p>\n

But before starting please take note that the steps I explain bellow must be done to each cascading style sheet .css page that you use within the main template folder.<\/p>\n

Now if you’re ready to proceed take a look in your theme directory and open up one of the following .css documents depending on what one you have chosen for your Blog.<\/p>\n

    ThatVistaBlog\/blue\/vistablue.css
    \nThatVistaBlog\/green\/vistagreen.css
    \nThatVistaBlog\/midnight\/vistamidnight.css
    \nThatVistaBlog\/red\/vistared.css
    \nThatVistaBlog\/snow\/vistasnow.css<\/ol>\n

    And search for the following line of code, normally on line 40:<\/p>\n

      #main { float:left; width:480px; padding-right:40px; }<\/strong><\/ol>\n

      Once you have found it, replace the whole line with:<\/p>\n

        #main { float:left; width:480px; padding-right:0px; }<\/strong><\/ol>\n

        Now save the changes you have made and take a look at your Blog, you may need to refresh the page if you already have it open, if all has gone correctly the displacement should be gone and it should now look something like this:<\/p>\n
