Bird’s-eye-view imagery in the U.S. is provided by Pictometry International Corp. for 30 percent of the U.S. areas that are mapped. In Canada, bird’s-eye-view imagery will not be available in the initial release but will be introduced as the beta is built out and improved over the next several months.

So I guess it looks like we have Windows Live Local Birds-Eye view imagery for London quicker than we might have expected, great work Microsoft!

Related links: MS Discussion

Following the recent availability of new Windows Live Local Aerial Photography for the UK, and yesterdays New release of Windows Live Local which includes real-time traffic reporting, new ways to collect and share search results, and tight integration with Microsoft Office Outlook and Windows Live Messenger.
