The Space Shuttle Discovery has finally arrived back at Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre after travelling piggy-back across the US on a modified Boeing 747.<\/p>\n

It had originally left Edwards Air Force Base on Friday but bad weather had delayed its arrival in Florida.<\/p>\n

At this current stage the future of the shuttle is uncertain after NASA announced the fleet would remain grounded until next year.<\/p>\n
