Remember my recent post<\/a>\u00a0about Frucall<\/a> the new US Web 2.0 Service which will\u00a0allow you to find the comparision of shopping prices by calling\u00a01-888-DO-FRUCALL and typing in or reading the product’s barcode number to the system which will then search the product on Amazon.com, Yahoo! Shopping and Streetprices.com and will return the pricing results within ten or so seconds.<\/p>\n

Well I can now exclusively reveal that some improvements are taking place and that we should hopefully be able\u00a0to see these new improvements in Frucall<\/a>\u00a0sometime this\u00a0week, but for now here’s a rundown of what it will hopefully include:<\/p>\n

Purchase Now<\/strong>
\nRegistered Frucall users\u00a0will\u00a0soon\u00a0also be able to order items directly on the phone from Amazon’s authorized merchants. Just select the “Buy this item” option after you have listened to the items current online prices. Users will be guided through a simple process to confirm payment and delivery details. Once a User Profile is updated with credit card purchasing information on Frucall’s secure server, users can use this feature. There will be no surcharges or additional costs to use Frucall to purchase items.<\/p>\n

Frucall PriceTextSM<\/sup><\/strong>
\nAlso\u00a0in addition to hearing online prices, merchants and other details on a mobile phone, registered users\u00a0will be able to\u00a0choose to receive the same information as a text message with Frucall PriceTextSM<\/sup>. So there will be no need to write information down or remember it, just press the number associated with PriceTextSM<\/sup> and an SMS message will be immediately sent to the Frucall user’s mobile phone.<\/p>\n

Frucall Buddy Lists<\/strong>
\nAlso last but not least another nice\u00a0feature will be that registered Frucall users\u00a0will be able to\u00a0send Voice and Text Messages to friends, families and groups in their Buddy List. To do this all\u00a0you have to do is\u00a0login to\u00a0your My Frucall page,\u00a0go to the Messaging with Friends section and list the phone numbers of the friends\u00a0you want to include. So the next time you want to send your Buddy List a recorded voice or text message you can do so easily, anywhere or anytime! This feature\u00a0will be\u00a0free and only the normal carrier charges apply to receiving text messages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
