I\u00a0was just this minute on the BBC News website when I read the following\u00a0headline title “Emergency calls – Drunks, blood and hoaxes. The view from inside the ambulance<\/a>”\u00a0which reminded me of\u00a0a\u00a0so called Tom Reynolds<\/a> a blogger I meet at the First BritBlog BlogMeetup<\/a> in London so I clicked the article link to see what it was all about and wow was I shocked or\u00a0what\u00a0when\u00a0I read the first\u00a0four paragraphs and it said Tom Reynolds’s:<\/p>\n

Violent drunks, time-wasters and drivers that won’t clear the way… the tough reality of life for an ambulance crew is recorded each day in a blog which has been turned into a book.<\/p>\n

When you see an emergency ambulance on the street with lights flashing and sirens wailing, it’s rarely a sign of good news.<\/p>\n

And Tom Reynolds’s first-hand account of an ambulance crew’s daily life, Blood, Sweat and Tea, is a ride into the dark underbelly of urban life.<\/p>\n

“We tend to see the worst of human nature,” says the 34-year-old author, who works as an emergency medical technician for the London Ambulance Service.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I clearly remember Tom\u00a0telling us all at the BritBlog meet up what he was hoping to do in the next couple of months, like installing a video camera on the Ambulance to Record\u00a0all the people who just wont move for a noisy flashing Ambulance!<\/p>\n

So I think it’s great to see Tom being noticed by the BBC and to have a Book on the way too, it just goes to show you what blogging can accomplish for you.<\/p>\n

Let’s just hope that Tom isn’t too busy to attend the next BritBlog meet up because I can’t wait to hear about all his stories in person.<\/p>\n
