{"id":896,"date":"2006-08-25T00:32:01","date_gmt":"2006-08-24T23:32:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/25\/blog-updated-to-lush-0998\/"},"modified":"2006-08-25T00:32:01","modified_gmt":"2006-08-24T23:32:01","slug":"blog-updated-to-lush-0998","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/25\/blog-updated-to-lush-0998\/","title":{"rendered":"Blog updated to Lush 0.99.8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Great news I&#8217;ve now updated my wordpress blog theme from Lush 0.99.7 to Lush 0.99.8 along with other minor bug fixes and tweaks, so you should now hopefully see some improvements, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New header, thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/bahiatronic.spaces.live.com\/\">Eric Cheung<\/a> for suggesting a lighter colour for the tagline.<\/li>\n<li>Small colour changes in the sidebar, so your eyes rest easier.<\/li>\n<li>Small speed improvements, so you can get the latest news faster!<\/li>\n<li>Live Search now works in Firefox again, thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mattvogt.com\/blog\/\">Matt Vogt<\/a> for telling me .<\/li>\n<li>No more overlaping of multiple trackbacks over the sidebar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However there is still something that I would like to fix that was recently pointed out to me by <a href=\"http:\/\/xo.typepad.com\/\">Robert Gale<\/a> and that is that if you click a link with the middle mouse button (mouse wheel button) in Firefox to open a new link as a new TAB then it dosent work like it does on other sites!<\/p>\n<p>I eventually found out what the problem was and that was that FeedMap is set to always on mouse wheel button focus so knowning that I&#8217;ve emailed FeedMap in the hope that they can maybe solve this, maybe having the FeedMap not use the Mouse Wheel actions until you&#8217;ve clicked it etc.<\/p>\n<p>So anyway hopefuly you should now enjoy my blog a little more, but as always if you do find anything that&#8217;s wrong with this blog or would love to send your improvement ideas for this blog please feel free to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darrenstraight.com\/contactme.php\">contact me<\/a> about them, also don&#8217;t forget I&#8217;m always open for hearing about anything new I dont know about yet!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great news I&#8217;ve now updated my wordpress blog theme from Lush 0.99.7 to Lush 0.99.8 along with other minor bug fixes and tweaks, so you should now hopefully see some improvements, including: New header, thanks to Eric Cheung for suggesting a lighter colour for the tagline.
