MSN CNI: New beta delivery program
I found this posted at Chris’s Msn Space today, what do you think about it, will this really work?
What is the MSN Customer Network Initiative (CNI)?
“[MSN CNI] is a web-based product for pre-releasing service and application software to the world. Our product is designed to grow our partner’s pre-release programs from thousands to millions of customers through a throttled invitation mechanism.
The MSN CNI team will shortly be shipping its first version and work is already starting for version 2.
“Nothing like this has been done in Microsoft to date; [This will be] the product which is going to revolutionize how we ship software.”
Will this put a stop to the software leaking that occurs frequently on betas such as MSN Messenger 7.5? We shall see. Given how “successful” WGA has been, I won’t be holding my breath.
