This morning I recieved the following email!

last 48 hours due to a surge in international media coverage (Reuters, CNN,

huge amount. Therefore auctioning the last 1,000 pixels on eBay seemed like

Sometimes it is hard to predict which ideas will fly on the net. Anyhow this idea did fly and he made his 1M plus. With the auction going the way it is on ebay, I think he is going to sell each pixel for $1000 for his last 1000 pixels.
To his credit, many have transformed this idea into some sort of advertising medium. Such as buckapixel.com and PayPerDot.com. I am not sure how long this buzz will last or even to see if this idea will work out for the advertisers. Just like the payperdot.com idea, they want to change this pixel into a network of sites.
We just have to wait and see. Too early to predict.

what a funny ebay auction. Take a look at the bidder’s history, highest transaction is less 100 bucks. more than 10 continurous bidding for one ppl. cant be more obviouse that it’s cheating.

Ive got my own pixel site http://www.50millionpixels.com but finding it hard to sell space at $1 per pixel,it sounds a lot of money but its not when you think how much companies pay using pay per click,unfortunatley since alex tew made his million everybodys jumping on the band wagon only to fail,have we all left it too late or are there more millionaires to be made with pixel advertising,
