Help us at Sony to help you by completing this survey!

Today I got an email from Sony with the following subject “Help us at Sony to help you” ok I thought, let me see what it says, it said the following:

Dear Mr. Straight,

Thank you for registering your new Sony Digital Still Camera.

We hope you are pleased with your experience of Sony so far. As we value our customers and are always looking for ways to improve our products and services, we would very much like to hear your views.

Many thanks in advance for taking a little time to help us serve you better.
Best wishes,
Your Sony Team

First mistake made by Sony, that flashing text, in my opinion they could have been done better, flashing blinking text should be a thing of the past not the future!

The next mistake was that once you had loaded up the welcome page for the survey there’s no actual button for you to click to start it, though I knew there was a button there as I could see it in the html code:

 < input class="button" onclick="Popup();" type="button" value="next" / >

I only managed to get the survey opening by clicking around and eventually coming upon the invisible button, I also noticed there’s some hidden text:

I also tried this in Firefox and saw the same problems, no button and hidden text so it’s not just IE7!

Let’s see if Sony can get it right next time! 😉

I have the same problem! I’ve received 3 message now asking me to give them my opinion on the Minidisc player I bought in 2004 (I think).

The participate link is broken and they ignore my attempts to unsubscribe. What’s going on?!
