I was looking in my website stats this morning and came across the following search term key phrase used to find my site:

“the name darren in chinese”

Now that’s interesting I thought to myself, somebody has actually found my site by entering the search term “the name darren in chinese” into a search engine, I wonder if I could find my site my doing the same thing I thought!

So in the hope of finding my site with the same words I loaded up quite a few search engines and searched for a little while until I came across the search page I was looking for, it was the second page in msn search for the search term “the name darren in chinese”

Ok I know had found what I was looking for but what about my name in chinese, how did it actually look like?

In the hope of finding out my name in chinese just like that first person who had come to my site had, I done another quick search and found this article which says that the Chinese name for Darren is:

Now I’m not sure if this is correct or not because the actual name of the image is “darien.gif” and not “darren.gif” plus if you go to this page which is for the name darien you get the same image, I’m guessing that this has something to do with that they are probably both pronounced the same in Chinese or that the name Darren dosent actualy exsist in the chinese language.

Also it seems that other pages give me different results depending whether or not I want it letter by letter or just the phonetic way of saying it:

So I’m now wondering which one is the correct one, probably all of them, but I cant be for sure so if anybody out there would like to explain I would be very grateful.
