What is Fare Guard

Fare Guard allows you to protect the lowest fare for one week without buying a ticket. It’s similar to locking in a mortgage rate before you decide to buy a house. By guarding the lowest fare, you can wait to buy a lower fare or firm up travel plans without risk. Farecast offers Fare Guard when they predict fares are dropping, so they’re putting their money where their mouth is. For a limited time during this test, you can get one week of Fare Guard protection for only $1 (regularly $9.95).
