Confused by which version of Windows Vista you want? Then you need some helpful advice featuring aliens. Microsoft has provided same at Windowsvistaretail.com, a new site designed to provide guidance for those on the shop-floor frontline. Rather than a standard product brief, it’s dispensing wisdom in the form of a series of animated shorts explaining the different versions, the importance of the Windows stickers on PCs, and more still to come. I can safely say it’s the most captivating retail briefing I’ve ever seen – check it out.

Currently the first three episodes are live:

  • : Tom and his team learn about the different versions of Windows Vista and the Windows Vista Capable Program. View Animation
  • : Tom and his team learn about the new logos appearing on hardware, software, and peripheral devices. View Animation
  • : Tom and his team prepare for the holiday season and learn about the Express Upgrade to Windows Vista Program. View Animation
  • Episode 4: Coming Soon!
  • Episode 5: Coming Soon!
  • Episode 6: Coming Soon!
