Microsoft Launches Startup Fund in UK

Microsoft has launched a UK startup fund called the Microsoft Startup Accelerator Programme. It’s designed to work with startups in the UK that are interested in using some of Microsoft’s products, like Silverlight and Live Services, which is of course Microsoft’s suite of web-based applications.

Five companies have joined the program so far, including Ether Digital’s platform for Internet video , Zebtab’s desktop video application, Corebridge’s CRM tools, ViaPost’s electronic document delivery, and Miomi’s mashup for users’ interactive timelines’ incorporation of multimedia.
