First man with bionic arm.

Jesse Sullivan from Tennessee in the US is the world’s first bionic man.

Jesse Sullivan lost both his arms after receiving an electric shock at work in a tragic accident in 2001 he thought back then that his life had changed forever and never again would he be able to do the things he enjoyed most.

Just four years after the devastating loss, advancements in prosthetic technology are giving Sullivan a second chance. The new $6 million bionic arm he’s received may help revolutionize the treatment of victims of stroke, lost limbs and paralysis. The treatment he received is called neuro-engineering; the new technology literally connects people to machines. He can now do things that he could not once again; he can play can do the dishes, pick up a bottle of water and shave with an electric razor he can even move his limb by thought and feel hot and cold.
