Last March, I posted a blog post titled “Free USB Pen Drive from Microsoft“  which gave you the chance to get a Free USB Pen Drive from Microsoft with some Windows Desktop Licensing info on it.

But it now looks like that our signing up for the free usb pen drive was all for nothing as Microsoft has now admitted that that no one is getting the Free USB Pen Drives, I guess the overwhelming amount of people signing up for the promotion was just too much for them to handle, especially with the amount of websites and blogs mentioning this offer not to mention Digg.

Makes you wonder who ever thought up of this promotion!

A small Adelaide company called Digislide based at Dry Creek is earning some worldwide attention after inventing a miniature projector named Digismart which will solve the problem of how to display something on a mobile device screen in large without carrying a separate device.

Basically what this means is that with the Digismart patented technology you will be able to project your whole mobile screen onto a wall or other flat surface with nothing other than your mobile device, your mobile device being anything from a laptop or pocket pc to a digital camera.

The current Digismart model which is likely to be further refined in terms of size and image resolution has dimensions of 50 x 30 x 20mm for a stand-alone device, or 39 x 15 x 15mm when embedded into another product.

It is capable of producing a resolution of at least 640 x480 pixels (and, ultimately, probably up to 800 x 600) with 16.7 million colours.

So just think we these kind of images you could use your PSP as a projector/handheld to play games with or use your digital camera to show your friends your latest photos in large on the go.

And what’s cool is that you don’t even need a dark room to view the projection always as long as you’re not in the direct sunlight.

Want to know more, then check out the site and watch the videos.

The World Trade Center Movie is a heroic yet sad movie directed by academy award-winning director Oliver Stone which tells the true story of the heroic survival and rescue of two Port Authority policemen John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno who were trapped in the rubble of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, after they went in to help people escape.

World Trade Center is a true story about courage and survival. It seeks to honor the good that we saw on September 11, 2001 in the face of such evil. Paramount Pictures is extremely proud of the spirit of this film, but understands the obvious sensitivities in releasing a movie about September 11th.

To that end, Paramount has been communicating with 9/11 family and survivor groups since last fall on all aspects of the film. Recently, we have shared information with these groups pertaining to the movie trailer specifically, and which movies it will be paired with, as a way of preparing those directly impacted by the attacks.

The Tutankhamun Exhibition (Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs) is coming soon to London in 2007 at the 02, formerly known as the Millennium Dome.

So if you haven’t done already I would like to highly recommend to you that you sign up and print a ticketing certificate to guarantee your tickets for The King Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition.

As this Exhibition will likely sell out very quick as it will be a great chance for many people to see Tutankhamun along with many of his treasures.

The address of the venue is:

The O2
Drawdock Road,
London, SE10 0BB
+44 (207) 536 2600

I have heard somebody say that this event will be held on the 7th of November 2007 but as of yet there is no official confirmation of this date, and as always any dates mentioned at these early stages may be subject to change so I’m sure later on in the year we can expect a better date.

Oh and if you’re wondering if this exhibition will be held anywhere else, well you’re in luck because it’s also going to be held in Chicago and Philadelphia after it the recent exhibitions in Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale.

And yes I have bought my ticketing certificate guarantee for the London exhibition, as me and my family are quite into Archaeology and Egyptology, it’s just a shame that the Descending Passage, Pit and Queen’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza are closed to the public as I would of love to go down there.

Now what are you wating for, go and pre-register your tickets to Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition.
