MSN Spaces is once again going to change member space URL’s, this time from “spaces.msn.com/spacename/” to “spacename.spaces.msn.com”, before version 10.5 it used to be “spaces.msn.com/members/spacename/

so why the change again?, well my guess is that that the url change is to do with technical reasons, or better yet they changed it because it’s easier and faster to key in “spacename.spaces.msn.com” on a mobile phone than “spaces.msn.com/spacename/” which requires the forward slash!

Also I beilieve this wont be the last URL Change we will see, not once MSN Spaces rebrands its self to Live Spaces, making the URL as so “spacename.spaces.live.com”

On and after June 1st June 5th all viewers and users going to the “old” URL will be automatically redirected to the new URL. In addition, your MSN Messenger/Windows Live Messenger buddies will also be automatically directed to the new URL when they click on your contact card to view your Space. We want to assure you that all of your data and information will remain intact, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
