Just got word from my dear friend Eric Cheung that the NotForNoobs.com Website has now finally revealed what lays behind, that being the Microsoft Habu Gaming Mouse Project, some people or thrilled my this news but others were expecting something more exciting than just a mouse, especially after all the hyper.

But hey if you’re a Hard Core Gamer I’m sure you’ll love the mouse, here are the Microsoft Habu Gaming Mouse Specifications:

  1. Interchangeable Side Button Panels provide gamers with two options for different hand sizes or preferences .
  2. 2,000 DPI Laser Engine, Powered by Razer Precision, delivers super-fast response time.
  3. On-the-fly DPI lets players adjust DPI for controlled sensitivity, adjustable from 400, 800, 1600 to 2000 DPI with the toggle buttons.
  4. Always-On Mode Pioneered by Razer gives gamers virtually no latency.
  5. High-speed motion detection lets gamers get their speed on with movement of up to 45 inches per second and 20G acceleration.

One thing they forgot to mention is the Battery life… does the battery rechargable like my Logitech MX 1000 Laser mouse… or require 2 x AA batteries… Overall, the shape looks pretty sharp!! I doubt they are going to make a series of hardwares for gaming prepare for Vista not just the mouse 😛
