Okay when avril was 16, just as she realesed let go, she said she would NEVER prance around in her knickers for money, ten year later and what’s she doing? And if avril is so sucessful why does she need to promote other people’s sh*t anyway? All her fans will know about Abbey Dawn and her perfumes so why put the obviously in a music video? A MUSIC video is suppose to be for the MUSIC, I think the name give that away a bit. Not an ADVERT, this is the thing you use for ADVERTISING. Just like farmeronions and Cat2 said; grow your balls back. If the rest of the album is like this I might pull my hair out, what happened to you? As soon as you hit your 20’s I swear you lost something that was there before. Something that your fans loved you for. Sorry Man, but this isn’t what I expected.
• Tue, 2011-01-25 08:46 — Piscesgirl10. This is an absolutely fantastic music video – I enjoyed every ssecond of it and I’m extremely excited for the new album to come out. As much as there was product put in there by Sony, I highly doubt that was of Avril’s making – but then and again – why not? Avril created it because she likes to wear them, so why not show off? Whatever we all think – I think the music video was very funny and a success! Rock on Avril! Can’t wait for your new album.

I do agree very catchy and great song however, product placement is done by many labels in videos and is accepted because it is worked in – not placed center frame, its usually subtle this was pretty ridiculous it seemed like more of an advert for perfume and sony as well as the abbey dawn clothing line – and i know its not avril lavigne personally doing these things and god knows shes only doing this for the money (anyone want to argue this think about it wouldnt the obvious placements been refused and more content actually based on the video be placed in that time?) looking fwd to the album though just not the sell out videos.

As you can see theres quite a bit of talk in regards of the marketing of various products throughout the music video, I certainly noticed quite a few of them when I watched it, actually now I’ve just watched it again I see all the products, the first time I was focusing on the music but now I’ve noticed the products being advertised they just stick out too much. Wouldn’t mind a couple or so but I really think the video should be about the music not the products. But I guess with piracy and such its another way to make money. But should it always be about the money?
