Yet Another Minecraft Server (YAMS) Now Public!
Calling all minecrafterians looking for public minecraft servers… My London based multiplayer Minecraft server titled “Yet Another Minecraft Server” a.k.a. YAMS is now public, so no more hiding as it’s free for anyone to join. There is currently no whitelist however due to increased popularity whitelist is sometimes on, in which case please visit the forums to get yourself whitelisted. I’m putting a lot of trust in you all here by making this a public minecraft server, so please don’t let me down. At the first sign of madness that is bad behaviour, there shall jailings and bans! 😉 so Keep an eye out for those bad boys and girls who just want to cause damage.

Update 26/01/2011: I have set us up a farley decent size base, which took me quite a while but I want you lot to expand from there, use your imagination, I’ve provided you with the foundations. So Enjoy! 🙂

Update 17/08/2011: Due to a huge increase on new players joining, from time to time we may whitelist the server. If you try and get on but you are not whitelisted please be sure to sign up to the forums at http://www.darrenstraight.com/minecraft/index.php?/forum/11-introduce-and-whitelist-yourself/ where you can read our welcome topic and introduce/whitelist yourself, pretty much all we need from you is your’re Minecraft Username. If you have facebook you can use that to sign in to the forums.
Update 18/03/2012: It’s been a month now since we have been in the new world, some call it YAMS v2 more than a year latter after the orginal first map of YAMS. Here’s some nice pictures of spawn.

@Syndicatefan101 – you have been whitelisted.
@aaronhowser1 – you were jailed for breaking 1 stone slabe on my rails, yes it might have been only one stone slab but it is clearly not a mistake, you broke it so you could get up to the rail instead of just walking round the corner in sandbox and taking the stairs! 🙁 Please respect peoples hard work. If a CSO or Mod is on next time you log in that will explain to you more if you wish as well as unjail – you will have to re read the rules though.

Hi there Darren, My brother Thomas (wyzwon) told me, i was supposed to write my own thingy-ma-jigger so i can be whitelisted… So Hi my name is Nicholas, but you can call me “NIK” for short. The server i normally go on and have been with for about 8 1/2 months is a bit slow and under populated so I thought that me and my friend that just got his own account (fluffyalpacka13 (could he be whitelisted too?)) can play on. On my other server I am admin and i am told that is for good reason so i am curious to see what your opinion of me is. Well i think i’m typing a little too much so bye. 🙂 -NIK

Hi darren its been a while since I spoke too you I havve been really ill and my computer got hacked but now that im ok not completely better and have got my computer better can you please unban me or at least let me back on the forums you know how much I miss you all so much I have joined another server but havnt been on that for ages I made a video about how sorry I am about what happened and all the people i miss and how much I love YAMS also about when I got told what you where all saying when you where deciding to ban me that actually made me feel nice because you were all upset and said nice things about me but I still still miss you all so much I miss the community the fun if I do rejoin I could start all over straight from sandbox id been on that server for ages before there even was sandbox so please darren forgive me give me another chance your amazing 🙂

@Emily yes there are loads of way you can help out! 😀 I know you say you cant signup to the forums but you can still view them and see if theres anything you would like to help out with and then ask someone to post spomething for you! 🙂
Likewise if theres something you think plankville could do with then please let me or another mod know so and I’ll get you approval to build it! 🙂
